Charleston, SC is a community teaming with people who are making a difference. My wife, Nicole, and I are always amazed at the efforts people make each and every day by giving of themselves. As a result, we felt it was about time we stopped marveling at the actions of others and started actively participating in the process!
The result is a new endeavor of ours named Project Charleston (www.projectcharleston.com). It’s an online platform with two goals in mind.
- Making a difference in supporting and promoting our community by helping impact the lives of others in a positive way.
- Support and promote the great work of those organizations that offer hope and opportunity on a daily basis.
Each year, during the holiday season, we will raise awareness and funds for an organization in the Charleston tri-county area. Please visit us at www.projectcharleston.com to learn more about our causes. We need your help whether it is through a donation or your willingness to help spread the word about Project Charleston!
This year we have chosen to support Charleston HALOS, an award winning non-profit organization committed to providing services and support for abused and neglected children in Charleston County, SC. They were an easy first choice for us as there are currently over 1,800 open cases of children suffering abuse and neglect in Charleston County. Charleston HALOS has been an incredible support system for these children. However, the economy has hit them hard, and they have struggled to obtain the funding needed to make a real difference in their lives. Our goal this holiday season is to give them a much needed boost! All of your donations will go directly to gifts, food, and support for the children and their families during the holidays.
Nicole and I want to thank you for visiting and donating to Project Charleston. No donation is too small so please consider making a contribution! We hope this small endeavor will lead to big possibilities for those you are able to reach with your generosity.
Happy Holidays!
Nicole and David
