100

Most of us will not see this number in our lifetime. In the blink of an eye we become grass upon the hills. We all know life is short so I won’t belittle the point by droning on here. Instead, I’d like to share some resources as we begin a New Year that might help you question, learn, live, and act. Feel free to share some of your own.

Happy Hanukkah and Merry Christmas to you all!

Resources

Carepaths

If you are a healthcare professional, you might want to consider using this practice management tool to improve the efficiency of your business. Nicole and I were fortunate enough to design a website for Carepaths, which introduced us to their practice management tool known as eRecord. It’s a web-based system where clinical record keeping, claims, electronic remittances, and patient accounting are seamlessly integrated and automated.

In addition to the eRecord system itself, Carepaths has agreements with four mental health directories – Psychology Today, My Therapist Match, Good Therapy, and Find-A-Therapist. When you sign up to use Carepaths you receive free and discounted rates with each of these directories. It’s a great perk!

If you’d like to learn more, visit them at www.carepaths.com.

The Cuillin Collective: Videos made easy

The ability to share complex ideas and information is becoming increasingly common through the use of video on the web. The trick is to create a video that is fun, educational and instructional and at the same time SEO friendly, but how do you do that? I’d like to introduce you to my friends at The Cuillin Collective and their newest video craft: the simple, hand crafted explanation video. I have used them myself (see for yourself at www.davidpdiana.com). Their simple hand crafted explanation videos are all created individually to meet your needs in a fun and informative way

Books

If you have reading on your holiday wish list I suggest you consider adding these to the list.

Uncertainty: I’m not overly excited about business books these days but this one by Jonathan Fields is worth the read.

The Snow Leopard: A phenomenal book about “the journey” that will inspire you.

The Art of Possibility: A different kind of self-help book by Rosamund & Benjamin Zander.

The Gift – Poems by Hafiz: My friend Dr. Mindy Edwards gave me this book as a gift and it is one of those things you turn to time and again for inspiration.

I Am That – Talks with Sri Nisgardatta Maharaj: This book may not be for everyone but I found it to be an incredible book. Unbelievably expansive in its ideas.

Small is the New Big: Seth Godin has written several books and this one is my favorite.
